Hello/Intro BroderickReturn to index of stories... |
Hello, I'm Beth Carroll. Welcome to NH Outlook. In the past few years, New Hampshire's courts have seen many changes. Some are the result of legislative action, others have come in the wake of a citizen's commission that examined all aspects of the courts. Outlook's Richard Ager spoke with New Hampshire Supreme Court Chief Justice John Broderick in Portsmouth about some of those reforms and the challenges facing the court system. Their discussion in began with the mental health courts that are now operating in Keene, Nashua and Rochester. |

As you heard, Justice Broderick is working to promote the establishment of mental health courts around the state. One of those is in Rochester where producer Richard Ager recently spent a day observing what he calls "tough love in the court". We will have much more on the Rochester Mental Health Court coming up next week on NH Outlook. |
